My favourite cartoon character

My favourite cartoon character is Patrick Star. Firstly, I would want to say that what comes to most of you people's mind is; "Hey, isn't that a stupid starfish?" However, does it matter if you've got the brains or not? Does it matter if you've got a weird best friend? Does it matter if you've got a odd-looking house? NO, IT DOES NOT MATTER AT ALL.What matters is what actually truly comes from the heart and from this I shall quote, "Knowledge cannot replace friendship. I'd rather be an idiot than lose you." from Patrick Star. He might have been a 'clever' starfish at that point of time because I believe he knows how to express himself. However, when he is back to his former self, he kept it to himself if I'm not wrong.

Ignorant as he may seem,
don't be deceived by his stupefied looks.
For never judge a book by its cover,
but it can never be helped.

Admiration should be taken noticed of,
and not some kind of intelligence.
It does not take a great mind to know what's so special,
especially when it comes to friendships like his and Spongebob.

I do not think I am in any way like that character. At all. I'm not as lowly educated as him; I do not have poor living conditions like him; I don't have a best friend unlike him. He is the opposite of me and I totally respect that. It amazes me on how interesting it could really be especially when viewing from a different point of perspective.

Unseen poetry

Okay so basically, whatever unseen poetry I had been given from Miss Maly is confusing. It takes a lot of effort to think and feel like the character in the poem itself. However if applied to a daily basis concept whereby me, as a student, have to come across people from different backgrounds and are supposed to mix with them. I believe that this learning from literature is very useful, not only on papers but through communication as well. Unseen poetry many be confusing but if a student is given more time to be able to understand it clearly with a better deeper mindset of that character.

Romeo and Juliet play

So basically, for Romeo and Juliet play, my group has already tried out the space that is approximately 10 feet which we were entitled to during the real exam. We already know our roles and what we are supposed to do. Almost everybody but Benvolio were there. I believe we are on the right track. :D

I guess what we needed to improve on is just the timing, maybe. Especially the costumes as I think that we have not yet finalised some of the characters' costumes. Other than that, I guess we are just fine. Maybe a good pass but not excellent. Everything living on Earth has flaws :o

I find the Romeo and Juliet performance project very exciting and interesting. To me, as a lit student, it helps to better communicate with the other team members. Even at the most difficulty part of involving everyone in the play. The director has made the most sacrifice as she had to make time to direct the other team mates. I find everybody awesome in my literature R&J group.
